Class Description

Ever wonder how a group dance routine is created? In this Intermediate/Advanced choreography class you will learn how to put your creativity into movement and then teach it to others. Students will be placed on teams then, introduced to intermediate dance moves and techniques. Each team will then be challenged to put together combos utilizing these moves and ones they come up with themselves. The combos will be strung together each week to culminate in the creation of a showcase dance routine. Patterning, technique, and group teaching, as well as cleaning a dance routine will be emphasized in this class. Join Theresa VanWetten as she teaches one of her favorite areas of dance, choreography!
